1957 West Superior Street, Chicago, IL: De-conversion & renovation to correct multiple city code violations involving illegal modifications to a mixed use vintage building.
1532 S. Pulaski, Chicago, IL: Total renovation of a three story mixed use building.
Park Royal Apartments Libertyville, IL: Extensive MEP upgrades including a fire sprinkler system, central fire alarm system, new windows and EPDM roof.
870 North State Street Chicago, Illinois: Total renovation of the shell, interior and superstructure of a vintage four story mixed use building near Chicago’s gold coast.
Commercial:
W.W. Grainger, Inc.5959 W. Howard St., Niles, IL: Expansion and renovation of the Security & CCR department offices plus multiple restroom conversions/renovations.
6200 N. Hiawatha Avenue, Chicago, Illinois: Numerous tenant build-outs, two lobby renovations, elevator cab re-design, zoning study, BOMA calculations and as-built drawings for 2 eight story twin towers (160,000 SF+/-).
528-530 Crescent Blvd. Glen Ellyn, Illinois ; Renovation of a two story retail space including structural upgrades, mezzanine removal and new stairs and ramps.
Industrial:
K-Five Construction Corp.Merrionette Park, IL: MEP & lighting upgrades for a 50,000 SF. heavy equipment maintenance facility and storage yard.
U.S. Dismantlement Inc., Chicago, IL: Industrial yard expansion, maintenance building upgrades and headquarters renovation for major demolition company.
Government:
State of Illinois Office of Savings & Residential Finance, Chicago, IL: Renovation of the entire facility including 17 offices, restrooms, examiners rooms, computer center and security systems.
Additionally, Mr. Medema was a staff architect at other Chicago area firms including Skidmore Owings & Merrill where responsibilities included design and production drawings for projects including:
